Great selection of delicious sandwiches and savory options such as quiche, pizza slices, and cheese and onion tartlets. The only drawbacks are the lack of parking and the fact that it's cash only. View all feedback.
I have been going in here for over 20 years since I was at school. The sandwiches, pies and cakes are the best around.
The white torpedo/ baguette is deelish. Chicken salad if my fav.
This bakery is something special. it is small and often has a waiting queue outside, but it is worth waiting. there is always a nice selection of sweet and hearty in the business freshly made and absolutely delicious. we get almost always lunch from here when we are in midday and it is very difficult to choose what to have. service is friendly and patient, they take now contactless and they always seem to try something new. I especially enjoy the chicken and mushroom that doesn't sound like it's working, but it's beautiful. the huge pasties are also amazing and close my eyes evoked memories of sunny childhood holiday in cornwall.
On Friday, early afternoon, we dived into christines bakery on the walk around sawbo after we made the delicious, baked cok cookies for our two older and discovered a cake for both of us! I can say that we all enjoyed eating them and we will immerse ourselves when close! x
If you get there for 9am you'll be able to get a sausage roll fresh from the oven. Awesome start to the day!
