This church has a small cafeteria in the back, and the food here is delicious.A+

Came here years ago on a Friday afternoon but it was closed. Sad. But I came back again years later, determined to try a hidden jewel. The location is outside the city and you would need to drive from the city center. The cafe is to the right of the church, with a glass door that's in-between the restaurant and church building. I had heard the fried chicken was excellent and was aiming for that. Sadly, the restaurant ran out so I went for plan B: braised oxtails. The oxtails were fantastic: full of savory flavor swimming in a really nice gravy that wasn't too thick. Putting it on top of my red rice made for wonderful comfort food. The red rice, which wasn't mushy at all, had a bit of tartness and there was a fairly substantial tomato flavor to it. The other sides were more pedestrian. The braised cabbage was rather bland and lacked any personality. I only ate it because I needed to feel better for myself that I ate some vegetables. The mac n' cheese wasn't creamy but it was passable. The mac was more like a casserole. Service was friendly throughout and professional. It's a church cafeteria that's actually worth going out for.

Awesome Southern comfort food served from the kitchen of a church. I am not sure of their hours but I drove all the way from Jacksonville just to find that they are closed on Wednesdays. Try to call ahead of you can.

Masada cafe has some extremely delicious flavorful dishes! i heard that will be re-opening really soon, and the good thing is all are welcome to come and enjoy a delicious meal! individuals, families, groups, etc... i 'm telling you it 's a tasty experience you would love it!

Every bite was so good. This is in a basement of a church. Church ladies cooking just like you imagine. Perfect is all I can say. if
