It h... read more This was my first time at Common and it was wonderful. Our waiter/bartender was Evan who was funny, charismatic, and just a delight. Try the Savannah mule. It has a peach twist and it is so good. Appetizer were oysters with various toppings. I am not an oysters lover but my girls said they were fresh and perfect. I would have rated higher, but at the time of our reservation they were made up of at least 6 of their menu options that give us limited selection options. this is also not a very child-friendly device. menu options are limited to an adult burger and waffle. Drinks were good but not garish (French 75 and mojito).

Staff was a bit overeager (at one point 3 different servers stopped by our table insuccession to check on us and take our order?! But everything we ordered was correct and well prepared. Entree serving sizewas definitely on the small side for the cost, but flavor made up for some of this. I still left kind of hungry, but the foodthat I ate there was amazing. We tried several scallop dishes, and oysters on the half shell as an appetizer, which we ate tooquickly to even get a picture. Excellently prepared, delicious! Robust vegetarian menu available as well. My coworker orderedtwo different cocktails, and she enjoyed both. All in all a very good dinner experience, would recommend if you can afford it!

I would recommend making reservations ahead of time or sitting at the bar! The drinks were really fun and executed well. Try the chicken n waffles and green tomatillo bloody Mary (it has a fresh, brine-y, pickle taste), great for amorning drink!
