The fried chicken is probably the best thing on the menu. The mac and cheese and green beans were also really good. Overall the food is tasty. Note that this is a family style restaurant which means everyone shares. The price per person is a little bit steep at around $25/person or more depending on of entrees you get but it is all you can eat, so come hungry. Service was really good though. View all feedback.
What Anora Wilson doesn't like about The Lady Enterprises:
We wanted to check out this place love it but unfortunately it didn?t impress. Both fried items were overly salted the desserts the sweet potato side), over sweetened. The rest of the sides were good but nothing I?d come back for. You can?t order any of the entrees on their own it has to be a minimum of 2) and it comes with four sides dessert and to top that off you can?t take home what you can?t finish except for th... First time down here and your restaurant NOT disappointed! The best roasted chicken I've ever had! Tried your fried orca n fried green tomatoes. Yummy Not a fan of geese, but tried my friends record 'shrimp n grits'. Now I have it for breakfast. Also your desert loved! Key Limecake, banana pudding and ooey gooey buttercake. But after a walk through the original cute shop I was able to button my pants Conta (Spelling) was our waiter n I wanted him a big thank you for his friendly n attentive service. Definitely will be back
Excellent food excellent people.definitely definitely recommend a come back
We wanted to try this famous restorer for ourselves. We enjoyed the $16 lunch buffet: roasted chicken, pulled pig, crowned greens, black eye beans, cookies, peach baskets, green beans and of course Mac cheese. All were good, except the tasteless black eye bears, unfortunately. The service was excellent. The interior clean, but very loud. We'd come back, but not in a hurry.
I'm very happy to eat here. The service was very slow. We came in on Wednesday night. The food was a great tasting. It wasn't the experience I thought it was... The bathrooms also really need to be cleaned. I probably wouldn't go back, but I'm glad I tasted the food.
Great southern food. Went twice while on our trip to Savannah. For our first visit I got the buffet. It had lots to choose from. It changes daily so might want to look at what they have before you decide to get it. I tried the chicken, bbq, green beans, corn pudding, mashed potatoes, and the Mac n cheese. All has great flavor. The fired chicken and the mashed potatoes was the best. There was more to choose from but couldn’t eat all they had to choose from. The buffet included a dessert so I chose the ooey gooey butter cake. It was great! I also enjoyed the biscuits. The second time I want, I ordered the shrimp and grits. It’s huge! I should have split it with someone. Couldn’t eat it all. The wait staff was friendly and polite. Would go back to eat there again.
