We had the first time yesterday at the grey brunch and it was really good. we were already for dinner and cocktails and it was always good. for the brunch they played a small jazz band in the main room that added something fun ambiance. the crab beignets are brilliant and one must try! everything we have chosen was great. if they have any shape of buttermilk cake on the menu, make sure they save space for dessert.
This place has been on our bucket list for several years, and during our trip to savannah we knew that we had to try to get in! reservations for tables are booked for the grey, but they have options for walks – either the a la carte diner area or seats at the full service bar. we are there early and waited only a few minutes on places at the bar. we ordered a 3-course dinner and dessert. everything was amazing. I would like to go back and try the cooking menu sometime. service was hospitable and friendly, while also incredibly professional. the atmosphere is quirky and beautiful. definitiw the money worth!
My wife and I saw the documentary film about the grey on the kitchen table and put it on our bucket list. now we did it on 05/20/22. we said they were booked for the weekend, but still come and we could see if there was availability. we arrived at 4:54, they opened the door at 5. we thought we wouldn't sit down, but get a place at the bar. we went with the 3 cursor, but first had amazingly fresh bread with smoked olives. the barkeeper/ waiter andy helped us navigate the menu. natalie has our drinks. both were very informative about the entire experience. I had, macrele, smoked carrots and the smoked lamb. lisa had the beet, laeks and the orange huh, we then shared the burnt orange egg with a chocolate cake. the eating was amazing, then to our surprise and amazement came chef owners mashona bailey and owner john morisano to the restaurant and ended up sitting next to us at the bar. they were very responsive and we had a very nice conversation with them. so check the stop-bucket list!

The atmosphere Is like stepping back in time. It's so warm and cozy and inviting here. All the staff was very attentive and polite. We were a large party having brunch. I highly recommend making reservations. We saw a long line even before the restaurant opened. The drinks and food were delicious! Can't wait to come back!
