The restaurant has a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food was delightful. It's fantastic to find a place that offers tasty and affordable gluten-free options. I tried the cornmeal-battered catfish with grits, and it was surprisingly generous in size. My husband ordered the chopper loop, and he enjoyed it thoroughly. View all feedback.
This is the kind of place that needs more than 5 stars as an option for rating. Absolutely incredible. Starting with sweet tea and finishing off with dessert, every bite was wonderful. We got the pot roast, fried catfish, and shrimp. Sides that we ordered included mashed sweet potatoes, mashed garlic red potatoes, and Mac n cheese. The pot roast had an excellent flavor and was very tender. The catfish melted in my mouth. I cannot wait to go back!!!
This place has a rep for the best banana pudding around and they live up to it. Stopped in on a road trip just for the banana pudding,and was shocked to see several other people coming g there to pick up to go orders of just the same. Absolutely must try this spot.
Truly is the best banana pudding I ever had.. I came here just for that.. it had bits of wafers in it.. so good I would definitely recommend and come back.
I'm so glad we decided to try this place last night of our holiday. It was delicious. My husband got the Jamaican Ruck chicken and loved it. I got the peach glazed Bbq chicken with garlic potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts and I loved everything. The peach glaze was so good. If we're ever back in Savannah, we'll definitely be back to Sweet Potatoes.
Absolutely delicious. I can see why its a local favorite. The service is super quick, the staff is friendly, and they keep everything clean. Food is perfectly seasoned as well
