Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Savannah

I came thru the drive-thru @6pm today and the person on the speaker was very pleasant and nice. Then when I came to the window Manager Mr Keith Ms Monique made sure my order was fresh, accurate fast. This is most definitely THE BEST POPEYES in Savannah GA

All I wanted was a Apple pie. When I ordered they told me it would be a seven minute wait. As soon as I pulled up it was ready like 2 min later. I get it it’s ice cold. I give it back and ride back around to the window after sitting there for 7 mins. The lady inside tell the drive thru lady well she will be waiting 7 more, tell her to pull up. The lady at the window didn’t want to repeat what she said so when she looked at me I said I heard pull up.

Usually Popeyes is pretty good. I don’t get it very often, but the few times I’ve had it I was never disappointed.Unfortunately, this time I think I was given some chicken that had gone bad. It tasted really funky. I hope this is a one-time fluke. But I’m really picky about chicken, so this bad experience will probably keep me from coming back to this location.

On 5/21/22, this location had nothing but apple pie. No chicken of any kind. No chicken sandwiches. No chicken by the piece. No sides.The week before, they took my paid order via their app. When I got to the restaurant (around midday) the lobby was locked. I had to walk through the drive thru to get the food I’d paid for.They do not have any signs up stating that the lobby is closed and the location is drive thru only. Today they had no signs up saying they were out of chicken.This location used to be fine. Now it’s a mess. At this point I don’t see how they’re going to stay in business. Surprised they’re not closed permanently. Wish I could give zero stars.

They were out of almost everything I tried to order. Including Sprite! I love me some Popeye's, but this location not so much. Bad attitudes at the drive thru didn't help.
