Jazz'd Tapas - Savannah
Jazz'd Tapas
Description
Nestled in a stylish, artsy basement with a speakeasy vibe, this jazz bar offers live music that greatly enhances the atmosphere. The cuisine is a mix of non-traditional tapas and Southern-inspired dishes, with standout items like tender lamb chops, flavorful beef tenderloin tips, and low country shrimp and grits. While some dishes, such as crab stew and poutine, receive mixed reactions due to seasoning or presentation, many guests praise the generous portions and shareable plates. Cocktails are crafted well but priced on the higher side. Despite occasional service and ambiance inconsistencies, it remains a solid spot for date or girls’ nights, especially post-renovation.

This is a lovely restaurant that offers just the right balance for a relaxing dining experience. The background music creates a pleasant ambiance without being overwhelming, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. We tried the BBQ ribs, lamb chops, and blackened salmon, and I can’t express how amazing and perfectly cooked they were. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return soon.
I highly recommend ordering the Tapas for 2. You can select four entrees, and it also comes with a soup and salad, plus two desserts to finish off your meal. It's definitely the best value for your money. Make sure to try the ribs; they just fall off the bone! And don’t miss out on the delicious crab chowder!
The chicken wings are an absolute must-try! The macaroni and cheese was also fantastic! The musician had a wonderful vintage sound, and the dim lighting created a perfect atmosphere for a date night or a small gathering with friends. The service was outstanding and incredibly quick!
