What victoria Schutter doesn't like about Debi's:
Beautiful restaurant with nice ambience, however my breakfast was not good. that being said, I’m very picky about my eggs. I ordered them scrambled and they look like I don’t know flat fried.. the coffee was delicious and the service excellent. I just don’t understand why restaurant that specializes in breakfast can’t do scrambled eggs, right? View all feedback.
A MUST STOP BEST COFFEE The best breakfast in Savannah or should I say in GEORGIA The hollandaise sauce is off the charts... Eggs were PERFECT, the sausage was a slamdunk. The service was on point. Elizabeth was charming and made us feel at home. Just a note, they did not serve boozy breakfast drinks but don't let that be a deal breaker.
Such a cute basemant restaurant, loved the rustic decor and the big fireplace. Had a giant cup of coffee, eggs and biscuits, and the french toasts were soo good. Great breakfast spot in Savannah!
Debi's offers breakfast all day. I had the bowl with bacon and eggs. A generous part was fed. Delicious and filling comfort food. The cups of coffee are beautiful and large and well brewed. The staff is very friendly and the dining room is cozy. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it.
He heard and read about the restaurant as a place where Jenny worked in Forrest Gump. Since then they have moved to another place where the restaurant is located. The restaurant is conveniently located at East Bay St and appears humble on the inside, without regular Frills seats. It has this kind of landscape Diner Vibe. It was busy when we were there and almost all the tables were occupied. That's how people like it. You have daily home specialities for breakfast. We wanted a light breakfast. We ordered chickens N dumplings, that came with two sides. We went with fried rice and peach-cobbler. We also have French onion soup. The chicken dumping was quite bland for my taste buds. The fried rice and the maize bread were good. The peach cobbler, on the other hand, tasted really good. The French onion soup was brilliant. It came with a cheesy toast. And it's very popular. Some people ordered it next to us and they were out. It's difficult to run a restaurant. I can't complain much, but the cutlery was dirty. Overall, I liked the place. The food here has a southern taste, but they could definitely be better. The servers were pleasant.
The Big Bay Breakfast was a great deal. All that for $14. Paired with a tall cup of lemonade and it was a great way to start a Sunday. Shoutout to the service team, keeping their cool and their smiles during a busy rush. Definitely recommend.
