Very good seafood restaurant in Savannah! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is great. I had the fried shrimp appetizer, which was fresh and well seasoned. For dinner I had the crab cake with fried green tomatoes. The crab cake had more crab than breading, which is what I prefer. Both were delicious, and I will return next time I?m in town. This is one of my new favorite restaurants in savannah! large 20 lounge atmosphere with curtain separate modern lounge stands. the eating was fantastic! first they must begin with the chive muscles. they will regret it if they miss it! it is the source of this savory curry like smell in the restaurant (because everyone ordered them) they are the best damped muscles I had. try to get extra toast to plunge into the heavenly broth! we ordered the lobster tail risotto and the Chilean sea bass for our entrees. both were excellent. but the melt in her mouth Chilean sea bass brings me back again. omg the most escaped come in a small and large part. Had dinner there Thursday night. There was a wait, but we we're seated sooner. The hostess was friendly greeted us right away. We had Courtney as our server she was fantastic- nice, genuine attentive w/o over doing it! All of the staff was friendly seemed to work well together to help with the dinner rush. Our food was great: blue point oysters, the cutting board 2 Ping entree's: quail buffalo.
Food was good, but felt it wasn't anything mind blowing. Portion amount was fine for one person and service was attentive. The atmosphere is dark, lighting is difficult for older adults...nothing inviting about the place. I think they should use something other than black in their decor....I would eat there again, but maybe for lunch. Price is a little upscale but not bad. I have a food allergy and they did accommodate and I enjoyed my food very much. Highly recommend the sea bass or salmon.
This place has such a classy and elegant atmosphere. Plush velvets and sparkle all around. I love the curved banquet seating for smallish dinner groups. Their food is delicious, and they usually offer something out of the ordinary. Sometimes my friends and I will just stop by for a pre-dinner or pre-concert cocktail. I have a thing for strawberries, and The Red Clover hits the spot!
This place is delicious! The mussels were to die for and there was nothing to disappoint! Even the water was great. I love how they have the curtains in the booths for privacy. It makes the dining experience very romantic.
