Horrible experien... read more Follow up: I received a response below although they never followed up after I sent the email they requested. The restaurant has done nothing. Horrible experience, Total Waste of and time. I’m staying in a nearby hotel with my dogs. I called and ordered 2 pieces of plain grilled salmon 30each) and a NY strip steak 42). I had a discussion with Amanda that the salmon was for the dogs and needed to be prepared plain, no seasoning or oil. Amanda assured me they would do this. I ordered the steak medium well. I picked up the food and noticed immediately that the salmon was seasoned and full of oil. I reminded that I ordered plain for my dogs, The server just stared at me. I had waited over 15minutes in the parking lot then left. The next day, today, I called the manager and told him what happened although also said I wanted to reorder tonight and would he make sure they didn’t mess up my order again. He said yes he would make sure the salmon was prepared plain and the steak medium well although also said he could not give me a credit or any refund for the food the previous night. I decided to give him another chance and I ordered the same. I picked up my food, the salmon covered in lemon and oil and the medium well steak burned so badly on the outside and raw red inside. The manager wouldn’t even step outside to give the food to me when I explained I was outside the door with my dogs. I think the service is horrible, the manager is unprofessional and probably shouldn’t be in customer service I wasted 240.00 on food that was not edible. They did nothing to correct the order or refund my . Beware , such a rude, unprofessional group over there as far as the take out service. I imagine the same inside as I did deal directly with the manager. I’ve always had good experiences at other Chart House restaurants around the county. This one in Savannah was not at all up to the same standards.

The wine se... read more Our first meal here and the food was amazing. There are three levels of restaurant in this upscale restaurant with beautiful views around the decor. The wine selection is impeccable and the ambience was very romantic. The staff was very attentive and beat very delicious dishes. The fried green tomatoes and the crabs crabs were greedy. This is a must for good food.

I... read more Ordering the 14oz New York Strip online for pickup. It was ready five minutes before pick-up time, but it was hot from the grill. It was so juicy and tender! I had not provided any problem with the plastic utensils to cut it and eat it. The small yam chip garish on potatoes a little extra taste on the already delicious food. Based on my experience, I definitely recommend.

The pomegranate martini was really delic... read more I celebrated my birthday dinner here. Before getting seated at our table, we visited the bar and they had a happy hour. The pomegranate martini was really delicious and my husband opted for his favorite old fashioned. When we’re seated at our table, I was pleasantly surprised to see the menus that the hostess gave to us had a personalized birthday message printed right on the menu. Every staff member we came encountered was very attentive and friendly. Everyone in my party loved their food (pecan crusted trout, swordfish, salmon, and the chicken). The portions were plenty. And don’t forget to other lava cake for dessert! I will definitely come back and definitely recommend the Chart House!

Our waitress greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. We decided to start with the calamari and fried green tomatoes, both of which were excellent, though I personally preferred the calamari. For my main course, I had the apple king salmon, which was incredibly tasty and paired wonderfully with the seasonal vegetables. My wife ordered the prime rib, which was also fantastic, and the mashed potatoes were out of this world. Our waitress surprised us with a mud pie for dessert that had a delightful espresso flavor. Overall, the meal was definitely worth the price for such delicious food.

The service was good, especially considering our location. I ordered the three-course meal, starting with a chop salad that was a bit bland. For my second course, I chose the medium rare prime rib, which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The entrée was accompanied by a side of mashed potatoes with the skins on. For dessert, I had a chocolate dish that was beautifully presented and delicious. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable, largely due to the friendly and professional staff.

The calamari, on the other hand, was very tasty. Unfortunately, the highlight of the meal, the King Crab legs, fell flat. They didn’t taste fresh and were dry, making them not worth the price. The gnocchi was decent, and the lava cake was good as well. Overall, it was just an average dining experience, and I wouldn't choose to return.
