We heard how great this place has been for years, so we thought we should try. Well... I can say now that we didn't miss anything. Service was great, but the food? French Toast looked like wonder bread, pancakes were nothing special. Sausage patties were actually pretty good. View all feedback.

The Windmill Cafe serves up delicious, hot breakfasts that come quickly! Their menu offers fantastic value, and the staff is attentive, complemented by a friendly owner. My husband and I made a return visit for their special walleye breakfast, which was absolutely amazing—so flavorful! They feature this walleye breakfast and lunch special only once a month, specifically on the second Friday. I truly enjoy supporting this local small business! Once again, we had excellent food and coffee today! My husband and I savored the country fried steak with sausage gravy, perfectly crispy hash browns, eggs, toast, and coffee. It’s always a great experience!
Incredible value for your money! I kicked off my meal with the #1 dish, and I can't wait to return and try more items from the menu. It tasted just like my mom used to make. The staff was also extremely friendly!
Food is as expected. Warm homey welcome and kind service. Small town feel with a big heart!
