Sula - Sausalito

Another outstanding meal with superb service wonderful drinks!

We had been looking for a fine dining experience, but the service was rushed and careless. The food was well presented, but not well made or especially flavorful. The duck was inedibly chewy, the bisque was gloppy and thick. The marble tabletops were stained and looked shabby. I have eaten here before, and it was a wonderful experience, but it looks like the staff has turned over. Super-disappointed.

We have eaten many holiday dinners at Cavallo Point. It was always great, excellent service, great food. Sula this time was a disappointment! The food perfect but the service was cold and rude. I felt like we being rushed, and it seemed the staff did not know what was happening. When our waiter found out we were drinkers, he was so over us. We dropped a good amount of cash tipped! I think it will be the last time we spend a holiday there. Which makes me sad. McMurray Circle was a much better restaurant

The room had the ambiente of a base dining hall that could have been it once. my starter, hamachi crudo, has very fresh hamachi fried by a collection of heavily refined fritted something. the main course of the duck had the consistency of shoe leather and not much more taste. the lamb was however excellent and the sole ok, and service was top-notch. overall not a complete gloom, but next time they go to the farley. at this price-point, it just is not worth it.

Excellent service. very interesting cocktails and eating.
