Contribute Feedback What Rebecca L likes about Cavallo Point Lodge:
The lodge is a wonderful place to stay with incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge. If you want a unique experience that's still close to San Francisco, this is the ideal location. The staff were exceptional, friendly, and very professional. Both restaurants onsite are great. We come from a town known for Michelin rated restaurants, and we were impressed by the food and service. We have stayed here several times... View all feedback.
What Mike MacCana doesn't like about Cavallo Point Lodge:
Front desk days they don’t have per-room HVAC, so when it’s cold in your room, which is often, there’s no way to increase the heat without increasing the temp in all the rooms (which the hotel won’t do). I have no idea why someone would build a hotel this way. There is a small fireplace in the room but it will take hours to heat a large space, the only way you can get warm is stand in front of it. Lots of cold nights... View all feedback.

Lots of cold nights with a second blanket. Not pleasant. Would not stay again.
My husband and I stayed a weekend here with our dog to have a little getaway from the busy city for his birthday. Spencer checked us in, and was super friendly. We had a really nice time! I'm not sure if we'll come back, but maybe. While the location is beautiful and has great access to hiking trails, the food is priced too high for its mediocrity. It's hotel food, definitely. We ended up resorting to delivery on our last night. We also both had a massage, and their center is quite lovely. We forgot bathing suits and didn't notice they sold some there until we were leaving, bummer!Food drinks: Bland food.
If you want to be at the waterfront and see the SF skyline as well as the Golden Gate bridge, I suspect that there is no better location than Cavallo Point. They also have the very best bath soap, body lotion etc on the planet!
The beds comfy, with pillows perfect…not too hard, not too soft and NOT foam (yeah! . The food at Farley was artfully presented and very good. The staff is the best personable, responsive to requests, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. I plan to return and try spa services next trip.
Albert provided an exceptional experience at Sunday Brunch for the two of us. Our dogs had a great time and the chef knocked it out of the park with the eggs benedict and asparagus dish. Thank you for the hospitality!
