I had the best iced coffee here. It was a perfect way to start our day in St. Augustine. My family loved the Aussie pies as well. We stayed in town for 5 days and came back here two more times after our first visit. I highly recommend. Quaint and light atmosphere, friendly service, quality coffee and food. View all feedback.
What Ry doesn't like about The Kookaburra Downtown:
This place was excellent the last time we came to Florida. As someone born and raised in Australia the menu couldn't be less authentic. Today I tried the corker and it was cold, crust was stale and I didn't enjoy it. Totally inadequate seating. Many people hanging out with no food and empty drinks, left us forced to sit outside in 100+ heat. Not the same experience as last time, won't be going out of our way to come... View all feedback.

read moreMy wife and I live in Connecticut and every time we visit family near St. Augustine, we always make sure to stop by The Kookaburra. It is the absolute best iced coffee I have ever had, and that is not an exaggeration! As crazy as it sounds, my wife and I actually talked about moving nearby so we can enjoy their coffee every day! The baristas are also always very friendly. This is one of the few coffee shops that I will tip at because the service and products are amazing, and the order is correct every time. We can’t wait to go back. If you go, try the Hot Aussie but get it iced it is absolutely delicious!

Great morning spot for coffee and pies. Staff was friendly. Just need to add some tunes to the air down across the way.
Large coffees seemed more like smalls but the prices weren’t reflective of that. Otherwise a cool little spot in the heart of DT.
