Meehan's Irish Pub Seafood House

Great food. It was packed and it was loud so we fit right in. Finally met some fantastic bartenders that know how to pour a good stout and we could see the ocean where we sat. We ate oysters (3 dozen) and a couple Reuben rolls. The oysters were fresh and they offered everything to go with them like horseradish, hot sauce, crackers, and cocktail sauce. We had a couple hiccups with the service because it was so busy but they still tried their best. Still 5 stars.

My husband, daughter, and I tried out this AMAZING restaurant for the first time yesterday. My daughter and I now have a new favorite restaurant! Definitely sit upstairs if you can. They even have outside if it isn’t a million degrees outside. Atmosphere was great. We did have to wait a little bit for a table. There is a bar upstairs and downstairs you can wait at. Our only complaint would be our waiter. He seemed to take care of the table next to us, who was seated after ours, even taking their order first and filling their drinks without caring about us. It seemed to us that he sized us up for not having a lot of money, therefore we were a waste of his time. Food on the other hand, was worth the wait. My daughter and I got mussel and clam dishes with linguine and my husband got a French dip. All was amazing and delicious! Keep in mind there isn’t a parking around the restaurant, therefore you’ll have to find either a paid parking lot or the parking garage. But if you’re staying at any one of the B&B’s in historic district, it’s walking distance. Check out Unique Finds of Florida Facebook group where this restaurant was featured!

So many places to choose from in St Augustine. Glad we chose Meehan's. Food was great. Got the cabbage soup, corned beef rolls, mussels and fish and chips. Evrlerything was delicious. Drinks were good too.

Third time visiting and we love it! The beers are great and the food is excellent. Walker helped me find the perfect beer for me. The food came out fast and it was perfect! Will be back again soon!
