Kendall our server was excellent and made great recommendations. The beef heart appetizer was amazing along with the grouper smoked in plantain leaves. The food is unique and unexpected. View all feedback.
Everything was awesome from drinks, appetizer, Mains, and dessert. Service was on point. Food was amazingly delicious! Appetizer Anticuchos Mains Mar Y Tierra and Cordero Cusqueño Dessert Sacred Valley Drinks Peruvian IPA and Yerba Mate Highly recommended!
I visited The Llama last weekend for my birthday, and my experience is now on my personal Mt. Rushmore of dining out. While all dishes were out of this world, the two things that stood out the most were tasting sweet drop Peruvian peppers for the first time and having the Luna Llena tres leches cake to top off my birthday dinner. We live about 45 minutes away from the restaurant and will be coming more often!
If you don't have money, don't come in, you won't leave satisfied, I had to go to another restaurant, thank you.
I cannot rave about this restaurant enough. My husband and I are big foodies. This meal beginning to end was phenomenal! Loved the fact they had delicious mocktails. This is hard to find often times for us little to no drinkers. The dishes were prepared and executed to perfection! I believe we have found our new favorite restaurant in this part of the state! 10/10
The hostess is rude. I reserved seats in advance and nowhere did it say that children under 10 are not allowed there (no pop ups after reservation). The only mistake I made was not to go to their website and scroll all the way to the bottom and read the terms and conditions of dining at this place. The hostess was rude and told us no accommodations could be made for this even though there were 2 empty tables. Moreover, there were children under 10 sitting in the restaurant already. Another 4 seater table had 2 ladies and they asked the hostess if they could switch seats with us and accommodate us since we had a baby. The hostess obnoxiously said no. We also offered to put the stroller in the car and put our baby car seat on a chair/table and dine. She refused that as well. After all this when we were ready to leave, she said we can wait outside if we want to. Having said that she said she did not know how long it could take as all tables are getting booked. She was just trying to make us wait at 8 45 pm with a baby. The owner can accept this review and make amends on their reservation site and let people know that no children under 10 are allowed in the restaurant with a pop up after the reservation. FYI We love Peruvian food and were very excited to try this restaurant as the pictures of the food looked amazing!
