The Butler restaurant offers a beautiful and comfortable location with friendly staff. Despite some minor construction taking place, the overall experience was pleasant. The food, though slightly underseasoned, received positive reviews, with highlights being the shrimp basket, crab-filled mushrooms, and spinach and artichoke dip. The outdoor bar provided a nice setting to enjoy drinks and food, with good tacos and burgers available. The Butler potatoes and waffle fries were highly recommended, along with the Peppercorn Horseradish Burger. The view of the lake and boats added to the overall ambiance. While some dishes like the crab-filled mushrooms and crab-filled chicken were noted to be lacking in seasoning, the staff received praise for their service. Absolutely terrible experience at The Butler. I don't understand how this place is in business. I guess because it's a great location and the tourists...
Horrible service!! After waiting a half hour to be seated it took an hour and a half to get our food. The waitress almost never came around. She forgot to put our order in several times. She blamed it on the kitchen being busy. A manager which was a young kid came out and apologized after the food came out and stated the waitress kept not putting our order in. Nothing but young kids working here. No real management over site. Worst service ever. Food is not the best. They forgot our clam chowder. After the food came out we asked for ketchup which came out after we were done eating.
I enjoyed a very tasty summer salad.
