Located in a basement and well decorated as an old inn... read more In the heart of Satu Mare (not far from the hotel Astoria we stayed we have found this hidden restaurant. Located in a basement and well decorated as an old inn, this restaurant offers a wide variety of traditional Romanian food. We have ordered Mameliga cu Brenze de Burduf which is a traditional dish made from boiled ground corn with special Burduf cheeze creem, Chorba cuperishuara which is a soup with meet balls Grill All dished were great, the service was good and the price (with drinks was about 20US$ for both of us. We warmly recommend the place I 'm sure I 've mistakes in spelling saying the Romanian dishes names.
