Was Anonym at Winston's a mag?

Came for a quick beverage Sunday over the long weekend. Generally I'm not a fan of this place but.. the bartender working was hilarious. Made it worthwhile. He alone may have changed my mind about coming here. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Winston's:

It is a bit of a sports bar but with an old style decorative metal roof, pub seating and lots of British memorabilia. Place is large, some outdoor seating. Service was friendly and quick. Food was ok - arrived quickly and warm - fish tacos a bit strange (breaded fish). View all feedback.

Be sure to order the fish and chips; they’re excellent! There’s also a wide selection of beers to choose from.

Biggest beer selection in the city, but expect them to be out of a lot of selections. Also, the service is consistently mediocre, because it's always packed and because they seem to hate their jobs.

We tried the beef and grog at this restaurant and it was amazing. My wife claimed it was the best beef sandwich she has ever had. The server was attentive, knowledgeable, and delightful to interact with. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was the perfect indulgence after enjoying the beef sandwich and poutine. We will definitely be returning.

My girlfriend and I recently enjoyed some beers and wings at this restaurant and wanted to write a great review for our server, Bailey. Despite the busy St. Patrick's Day crowd, we didn't have to wait long for service. Bailey was incredibly fast, efficient, and friendly. Thanks Bailey!

The Saskatchewan summer drink was pretty good . The atmosphere was great good perfect lighting not too dim not too bright and good ventilation. Good place to hang out and have a few drinks. These were at really low prices too.

Our team came in for food and drinks and we were not disappointed. The beers from 21st Street located on the premises are tasty AF. We tried a few of them and ordered some pub fare. Staff is super friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Thank you Winston's... We'll be back soon! ... Probably for lunch tomorrow.

I really like it for a few drinks on a hot and sunny day. I don't really visit the place in winter unless someone else suggests it. We had...

Service sucks. It used to be good. But now it's terrible. Wait for 15 minutes to come to a server, then wait 15 minutes for a beer. But it is not that they are busy, they only take sweet ass time and waste my

Terrible place. Zero Service. Many places that are better near her, but so jump here.

While staying in Saskatoon and wandering around the downtown area, we found this place and decided to try it for lunch. Located in the Hotel Senator on 21st Street about 2 blocks east of the mall. Gorgeous decor and a lovely atmosphere. Staff were checking...proof of vaccination as per Saskatchewan rules and we commended them for it. They were having a special of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding with mashed potatoes and veggies for $15.95 Both my wife and I had it and it was delicious. Veggies done very well. They had a huge selection of beer on tap, over 50 I think plus bottled beer as well. Good wine selection. Good service and value. We would defiinitely eat here again or just stop in for a drink. The rest of the hotel is worth a look. The manager knew we were travelling so told us to go have a look around and take photos. Beautiful lobby and restaurant. Downstairs was a really cool looking bar, that we could only see through the windows as it was closed.
