What a great find. Thanks to the Saskatoon Yelp community for raving about this place. I'm not gluten free and normally my hackles go up since I've experienced far too much tasteless GF. Not here though. We both had the Ayurveda soup and shared a Ratatouille pizza. OMG!!! The soup was bursting with flavour. Hints of tumeric and other spices made an amazing warmth. What Lance H doesn't like about Leyda's Café:
Gluten Free. Took my wife here as she is 100% gluten free, she lives with celiac disease, she was very impressed with the selection. Nice atmosphere. Very clean. I had the bison burger... I wish I would have had the Chicken pizza like my son did. The blueberry cheese cake was delicious!! View all feedback.

Not here though. We both had the Ayurveda soup and shared a Ratatouille pizza. OMG!!! The soup was bursting with flavour. Hints of tumeric and other spices made an amazing warmth. Note the soup is very filing so I found that the cup was plenty. The pizza was chock full of veg. I didn't pay attention to whether the crust was GF but it was good. Crisp. Just the way pizza should be. I'd go back again to try some of their other menu items.
I liked this place, although some of the people I went with thought it was just okay. First off, it 's both gluten free and nut free. We tried the pita chips and guac and salsa appetizer, and I liked the guac, and I almost never like guac (I 'm not a big avocado fan). I also tried the honey lemonade, which was a bit TOO natural tasting for me (it was very, very tart). For my entree, I got butter chicken, which came with pita, and the pita was slightly different than the kind that came with our app it was nuttier, and very good. The butter chicken was good, but my slight complaint is you don 't get a ton of chicken with it mostly just veggies. I was here during a work trip so I didn 't pick up the tab, but it did seem a bit expensive even sandwiches were $15 (CAD) and my entree was $16. If you eat gluten free or nut free, though, I imagine it 's a good place to check out.

Wow! I am so happy we checked this place out! Note: this place is completely GF but not entirely vegan. Make sure to check that out because I mistook the menu a bit! We got the mighty kale salad and it's amazing. The dressing oregano vinaigrette) is perfect with this dish. Two thing, the kale pieces were rather big. And the stem were still attached. Those two things would have made a difference. I got the veggie burger no cheese) and this is handsome the best veggie pattie I have had! It was crispy and flavourful. The burger comes with fries and salad I subbed for the soup). This was my fave meal in Saskatoon! The service was so speedy and friendly and warm! The prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend his place!
What a fantastic restaurant! The entire place is gluten-free and nut free, but you wouldn't know it from the food. I got so excited when he told me the special was bison osso bucco that I said YES and handed the menu back. I actually had to take a closer look when I left to see what I had missed. Burgers, pizza, salmon, beef fillet, beer battered, GF beer on tap, poke, this place is a serious gem. Plus the service is excellent. People were dressed up for a date, other were casually meeting, and I wasn't out of place with my laptop. You won't regret it here.
