Great Buffet Of China - Saskatoon

Please do not go there because the seafood there are not fresh at allAnd the manager there is not polite.

Tried the buffet tonight it was not to bad they had lots of selection some Canadian, Chinese, fruit and sushi and others there was only 2 options for

DON'T GO THERE! If you leave anything on your plate like a piece of hard crust from the edge of a pizza, they will automatically charge you extra when you go to pay! They also added a 1.5 hour time limit for dining after which you are harassed till you leave! Food is the same bland under cooked meat dishes really not worth the price! The dessert bar and soft serve are still ONLY the good part of eating there! There are much better buffets than Great Buffet of China with much tastier food! Look around and ask the local people: they will send you to the BETTER Chinese eateries!

I like to visit the Great Buffet once in awhile when I'm really hungry. The selection of food is great with five rows of food selections. I've never had a bad dish. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day, the dishes are hot and fresh. I generally stick with the asian fare, of which there is a good selection including wonton and hot and sour soup. My favourite is the tray of house shrimp cakes.There are many meat and veggie dishes and lots of regular Canadian selections, and even a sushi section. I only wish they had some tofu dishes. I did try to gravy that goes with the mashed potatoes and roast section and it was great. The selection of salads is really good and there's lots of dessert cakes and jellos/puddings, as well as as a soft ice cream machine with assorted fixings. The ambience is somewhat like a nice cafeteria which is okay. I'm just there to eat a good meal and I haven't been disappointed yet.
