this place looks so small from the street face but it is really massive when they come in. a beautiful selection of seating options available. they have made a great selection of beeing available what I loved, although they brought me two small samples of those between which I was torn. this is great service! eating was really good. The service was overly casual, and it felt like the servers were more focused on keeping their hair neat than taking orders promptly. I waited 30 minutes for fish and fries, and the food quality was disappointing. The fries were inadequately salted, and the fish appeared dark. Ultimately, I can only say that they need more professional staff on duty. View all feedback.
Great food, friendly staff but the heat was almost too much. It was 34 outside and 30 inside. I'm not sure if the air conditioning was broken (no one said anything about it) Too hot to make it a comfortable event. Got ice in our glass the first time but after that just water from the tap. Sure could have used ice, or a free drink, or an explanation of why it was so incredibly hot. Go here in winter, you'll be able to enjoy it more.
Sat at the bar on an early, quiet Tuesday evening. Awesome bartender, Marcel, gave me a few samples of the bear selection to make a choice as I was not familiar with the options. Great recommendations on the food as well, the wagyu smash burger with extra crispy yam wedges and garlic aioli. Very tasty. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
Came here with a buddy yesterday. They make a great cocktail, some rum and fruit thing. Braised pork taco was also excellent. Steak sandwich was sad, however. $27 for a few pieces of beef, pre-cut up, that cooked down from 6oz to 3 or 4. Served on a piece of toaster toast. Crazy how much they profited off it. Theres too many restaurant options in Saskatoon for me to say that was satisfying at all.
Probably a better place if you aren’t with a large group. Our waitress was hard to get ahold of and kept leaving before getting everyone’s drink or food requests. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it wasn’t too good but other members of my group had great meals! I’ll go back another time with a smaller group.
Good place to stop in for a couple quick drinks, if you can get a table.
