After visiting the museum, we dined at the tidy cafeteria-style cafe with affordable prices. The soup was tasty, but the Saskatoon pie was absolutely incredible. We returned three additional times during our trip to Saskatoon just to indulge in that delectable pie. It was a nostalgic experience with delicious home-cooked meals. View all feedback.
I ordered a loaded hot dog with fries and gravy. Very good. Maybe the best hot dog I've ever eaten. Very busy restaurant around noon.
The café is located inside the Western Development Museum, providing a full tour of how people lived in the past. The meals served here are top-notch.
We did not realize this cafe was not part of the exhibit until we walked in! The food is average in price but the good is good and honest. People beside us had the ribs and it was a full rack! We just had soup and sandwich which was well priced and tasty
We were in town for a family function and found this breakfast spot through Trip Advisor. The reviews did not disappoint. Our kids said the bacon and eggs breakfast was just like we make them at home, and the price was very reasonable. We would definitely return next time we visit Saskatoon.
If you want a hearty breakfast that doesn't hurt the pocketbook then this is your place! I like the breakfast special with 2 eggs, toast, sausage and hashbrowns. My kids get the kids pancake. Huge pancake with Saskatoon berries and whipped cream for $2.00! My husband thinks the omelette is one of the best he's ever seen.
