Terra - SARENTINO

As we planned our fallvacation we stumbled across this restaurant and were amazed by the concept and the pictures. we were definitively overwhelmed by the experience we had. the menu contained throughout fantastic produce, great execution and presentation. service is friendly and the wines were nice, too. a place to return soon.

Presentations were stunning and only surpassed by the quality and taste of every dish. You have a choice of the tasting menu and the tasting menu, but they will serve a different tasting if you have dinner consecutive nights. No matter, though, as I would be more than pleased to have had the same both nights. Service was efficient and friendly and my wine pairing perfect. The sourdough bread that came between was even paired wonderfully with a beer. It was an unforgettable dinner and experience.

I write this review after more than 10 year of regular visits to Terra. I have no more words to describe this place: at Terra one literally enters into dream made of poetry, intelligence, phantasy, kindness... all on the solid basis of an endless series of unbelievable ingredients and astonishing cooking techniques. Much more than a must go , Terra is an experience beyond any expectation.

This was truly one of the best meals ever Henrik is an absolute artist, his creations utilized the fresh local herbs and vegetables that he forages for daily . An absolute must!

As foodies, my wife and I were very much looking forward to staying at Terra, The Magic Place, on our Italy trip. Two star Michelin rated restaurant, beautiful location and off the beaten path we expected Terra to be great. But it was better than great it was perfect. Our accommodations were excellent, and the cuisine was beyond compare. The wine pairings that owner/sommelier Gisela Schneider poured (with excellent local wines), complemented perfectly the exceptional dishes created by her brother, owner/two star Michelin chef Heinrich Schneider. Add to this an exceptional restaurant staff who tended to our every need, providing exactly the right amount of attention to us as we immersed ourselves in this incredible dining experience. Thank you, Gisela and Heinrich, for a perfect two days at your magical place.
