Contribute Feedback What Joana Mascarenhas doesn't like about Aoyama:
I went on this Saturday to live with the work personnel in Aoyama. I found the Rodizio very expensive, a fortune at that time, it was about 70 REAIS, if I'm not mistaken, for a couple ...
However, I asked for a Yakissoba on the à la carte menu, which cost 25 REAIS. I found it hot, but nothing else, I heard that your poles are very good, but the first impression I had was not the best! View all feedback.
The sushi here is good! Being the fatty that I am, I always opt for the all-you-can-eat "rodizio." The first round was fantastic, if it ended here, I probably would've given them a 5. Starters included salmon nigiri drizzled with honey, cevice, salmon rolled and topped with apple shavings and pineapple and a few other delights. I also had a bowl of miso soup. The second round was fried, and by fried, I mean everything was fried :-( Fried shrimp, fried gyoza, fried sushi rolls. I prefer fresh and clean, wasn't very excited with this round. The third round had rolls, your basic salmon and cream cheese, cucumber... It also had some more nigiri and sashimi. I loved the tuna sashimi :-) I ended up ordering 5 more rounds of the starters :-) Service was terrible, extremely friendly when they were around but terribly slow. We ended up waiting quite a long time for all rounds. The atmosphere was nice, intimate and dark, what you'd expect from an expensive sushi joint. I'll probably return as it's so close to where I stay but only for round 1.
