The Malecón of Santo Domingo is a long shore area along a principal highway and the Caribbean Sea. Most of its area are safe to walk or jog by, or cycle while doing exercises or just stop to have an amazing sunrise, day/afternoon or sunset. What User doesn't like about Santo Domingo Malecon:
Good for a long run or walk, although there are some areas where the pavement is slick and some areas that are not very well lit. Obviously, great for hanging out with family and friends. Plastics and paper litter seems to be part of the landscape, as it is on so many other parts of the island. View all feedback.

It is a nice place to spend time watching the ocean, walking around. If you want to spend money there are lots of restaurants. There is always lots of traffic but it is a beautiful place.
It's always a pleasure going there. If you want to have an amazing sunset view, it's the better place to have it.
Always friendly people, delicious food and excellent music.
If they are a thalassophile (one who loves the sea, okean) and want to peace to feel free, then I recommend them to go there. it's super! a lot of fun down there
