Arrived around noon. food was hot and delicious. a restaurant employee actually came and greeted me! her name was annamarie. she then proceeded to clean all the tables and the drink station. wow, what service! excellent!
"I was very disappointed with what I was served tonight for my kids. As a long-time resident of Santee, I know I won’t be returning. The service was terrible, and I didn't even receive what I paid for. They chopped up a piece of chicken for their sandwiches instead of giving me the tender meal I ordered—my kids won't eat this. The tenders I did get looked like they had been sitting out all day, along with the mac and cheese. Just take a look at it... I think it’s time to close the doors."
The woman taking my order at the drive-thru was completely unhelpful and consistently rude throughout the entire process. To make matters worse, they sent me off without an entire meal that I had specifically confirmed by asking, "Is this everything?"
4 PC Chicken When I got home, the chicken was old and unpleasant—the meat was dry, and the breading was lumpy, as if it had been dipped multiple times. Having worked at KFC before, I know when chicken is past its prime and should be discarded. To keep food costs down, we used to cook only what was needed for each hour and replace the batch before the timer ran out. It’s clear that this practice no longer happens, likely due to rising food costs, and as a result, the food quality has suffered greatly.
