I like fish occasionally but wouldn’t say I’m a BIG fan of it... read more We stumbled upon this restaurant. I was a little reluctant as there was a lot of fish on the menu. I like fish occasionally but wouldn’t say I’m a BIG fan of it. I settled on the pork with mushroom sauce but wasn’t really that...convinced. Well, what a surprise. I don’t know what I can say accept that we couldn’t fault our meal. The pork was beautifully cooked and the mushroom sauce was thick, creamy and very tasty. I declined the rice normally served with my dish and just had the vegetables. The whole thing was devine. My husband had the blue fish off the special boards. It was served with mash potato and although the portions weren’t large, they were really very good. The best we’ve had so far. The atmosphere and service was great. We spoiled ourselves and ordered desserts. Hubby has homemade chocolate cake and I had the crepe with strawberries, also all homemade. The whole bill including drinks was Not bad especially given the quality of the food. The evening was first class. Will definitely go again.
