Extremely unprofessional behavior from the owners. I had expected to pay for the room with a credit card, but their card reader was “broken” and they wanted me to pay in cash instead. Fine. But the ATM only allows you to withdraw 100k colones at a time (about $150) and the balance was $550. And each time, I have to pay $10 in fees to get the cash. So I would only be able to pay $150 at a time. When I told them this, they freaked out, and started bombarding me with phone calls every day because they seemed to think I wouldn’t pay. In one day, more than 10 phone calls. At 8 am they showed up to bang on the door and ask for money. Then again at 10am. Again at 12. Again at 6. Repeat for 2 days. Of course, on the last day, their card reader magically started working again and I could pay with card. The owners of this place are completely nuts: never again.

The place as such is nice, nothing spectacular but it is decent, clean and well equipped. The problem is the very bad in-person customer service (reception). First, there is no reception area, when you arrive it is very confusing where you should go to be greeted/oriented. To the point that we had new guests knocking on the door to ask for help, since no one attended to them. However, what was really unacceptable was the girl serving. He does it in a very bad way, he made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were in the way with our presence. Very VERY bitter, she even ignored us (very obviously) upon arrival when we greeted her with a smile.

Clean and super well equipped cabins: microwave oven, refrigerator, bread toaster, blender, kitchen plates and cutlery. Air-conditioning . The only problem is that there are several uneven levels within the apartment.

We felt very comfortable from the first moment. We spent some beautiful days that were super comfortable and well received. Excellent location and corresponding price. We would return without hesitation.
