Very delicious high quality food with reasonable price. I tried several dishes over a week and they were all great. Her mixed keviche was my favorite, so refreshing and delicious! View all feedback.
What NataliaStory doesn't like about Soda Tiquicia:
Not sure if this was an off night since locals seemed to recommend it, but I can only go off our experience. Passion fruit margarita was delicious! Not very strong though. The “spicy” margarita with jalapeño — we took a sip of and that’s it. Sweet, pickled jalapeño made this taste gross, not sweet. Plantain “patacones” were super thick. Just not our favorite. You shouldn’t fill up carb load on one appetizer like that... View all feedback.
Stay in St Teresa for 7 nights and ate here 5 dinners in a row. The food is phenomenal, the portions are edgeline crazy the service is secretly fast. There is so much to say about this little soda, but the pictures will profess my love for Soda Tiquicia more than I can ever. Prices are cheaper than tourist sites so if you do not need a “fancy” atmosphere, this is the place to satisfy your belly.
We came to dinner as it was recommended and we were not disappointed! It is towards the northern end of Santa Teresa on the mud road so is quite dusty walking there, but when we arrived, it was busy so that she showed us on the balcony floor, which was beautiful and spacious. We ordered some beers, ceviche and some local dishes fish in shrimp sauce, fish and vegetables and chicken and salad. The quality and quantity of food was great and it was also very reasonable at about $10 per person
My friend and I spent our last night there and we were thrilled to have the fried red snapper and it was so delicious! Also great service and chilled atmosphere! Can be highly recommended and value for money is particularly good for usually quite expensive Costa Rican prices.
After 6 years I’m back here and found it same good quality and low price. One of the few places that has not been influenced by the “new style and prices” in Santa Teresa!
Local Costa Rican Food. Super Nice. Their casado is the best The location is perfect for after surfing and the place is big
