I have a friend who loves this place. I like it too... but he's upstairs! Anyway, we go every year when we are in the area for spring holidays... several times. Today was no exception... only perhaps the best service we ever had thanks to Sarah Drew (our server). You were busy and my friend had many questions! She never made us feel like we were anger (although I thought we were! All their recommendations proved to b... View all feedback.

The Wine Bar used to be our go to place for years. The menu has changed quite a bit over the last year. The small plates are not as good as they once were. We miss the crab cakes, the ahi tuna. The last pizza we ordered had crust that was burnt to a crisp. Still a good wine selection but it’s a no for the food. View all feedback.
I attended a Bordeaux wine dinner here this evening and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and wine, especially when I found out that their executive chef, who engineered our 6 course Michelin star quality experience is 21 YEARS OLD! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was excellent. The price per person ranges from $20 to $30. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. I highly recommend the Seared Tuna Salad.
Recommended dishes: Gourmet cheese platter featuring a variety of cheeses accompanied by assorted fruits, nuts, and served with a rustic baguette.
I was extremely impressed! The food was fantastic, and the wine recommendations were spot on. I will definitely be returning. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Once we were finally seated, we placed our order. The Wedge Salad was delicious, although the addition of sweet grapes was unexpected. Unfortunately, the Grouper was disappointing; it looked and tasted more like pan fish than actual Grouper, and my husband’s Airline Chicken was overcooked. I requested to speak with a manager, and the first manager came out with the bill for the fish, trying to prove that it was indeed Grouper. The next manager overheard our conversation and graciously removed the Grouper from the bill. While it was a strange night overall, the second manager made an effort to turn things around for us, even surprising us with a complimentary bottle of wine to take home. The table next to us echoed our sentiments, agreeing that the first manager did not handle our situation well, but it was the second manager who really salvaged our evening. Overall, aside from the positive interaction with the second manager and the staff member who brought our food and the bag for our free wine, I feel that the restaurant needs to improve its staff and food quality. However, the wine was good, and thanks to the second manager, I’m not completely writing them off. I hope our experience was just an off night, and I’d be willing to give them another try in the future.
