Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant offers a mix of experiences with a variety of highs and lows according to customers. The dishes like the blackened grouper and oyster remoulade were praised, while service complaints ranged from inexperienced servers taking too long to seat guests, forgetfulness, and lackluster service. The menu and quality of food varied with some diners unimpressed by the dishes. Stunning views of the Gulf added to the ambiance, while one customer left disappointed after not receiving special recognition for a special occasion. Despite some drawbacks, many enjoyed the food and scenery, promising a diverse dining experience.
The food/wine selection and quality were good. Service, however, was not good at all. We had to wait over 15 minutes to be seated when we had reservations, our drinks (beer/wine) ran out more than once, and it was VERY slow. I appreciate a long, nice dinner as long as the server is attentive and it is leisurely by our choice, not lengthy because we are ignored. We may try them again at some point but they will not be our first choice next time. And I hate it because the view was spectacular! And a heads up to anyone that wants to give it a shot, bread is available but you have to request it. Your server will not tell you that or offer it.
Our service wasn’t the best, crab cake great but the entree was just okay.
Fried green tomato appetizer was amazing. I had scallops shrimp, my husband had fish chips. Our server was stretched a little thin between tables. The pool next to dining was unexpected.
We arrived 15 minutes early for our 7pm reservation at the restaurant with a party of 4. Our server repeatedly forgot our appetizers, took 20-25 minutes to refill our drinks, and took a long time to cash out our checks. Overall, I believe it was due to the server's inexperience. We didn't manage to leave until 9:10pm.
There is no better view of the ocean than Vue on 30A! The staff, food, and service are all outstanding!
