This restaurant was bustling when we arrived ahead of the crowds. We only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The food was excellent, although we weren't sure if it was worth the wait. Overall, we rated the food 4 out of 5. View all feedback.
What Bernard Marvin doesn't like about First Watch:
We stopped in on Sunday afternoon, and were seated rather quickly, even though the place was crowded. Wife had a cobb salad, which she enjoyed with a bowl of tomato soup. I ordered breakfast, and was not impressed whatsoever. The bacon was over-cooked and shattered when I tried cutting it, the potatoes were charred, but not done, the toast was cold to the touch, and I struggled to finish what was on my plate. The cof... Great place to lunch, suppe (tomats) and sandwich of choice. fresh icestee and it was great. also fantastic service.
We've been in this opposite for a couple of times and this first watch is always one of our hits for brunch while we hear. they have something for the whole family. the breakfast items or lunch items that are really the first price. we will stop here again!
Her menu is very focused on healthy food options. we had dipped the floridian french toast 12.79) they use brioche bread with a wheat germ powdered zimtzucker, then kiwi, bananen strawberry added above. it was very good, but would have given you a little bit more piece and whipped cream for the price. they offer veggie burger sandwiches, pancakes, egg dishes much more.
We were disappointed. Had heard so much about this place that we decided to go there after church. Food was just basic. Bacon had a lot of fat and was greasy not crisp which we ask for. Waiter was friendly but did not check back with us. He took our payment at the register but didn’t ask if we were pleased. The place was clean and comfortable.
We try not to eat at chain places where we have one up N but wanted to try the local scene. Fairly new place, 2 visits during our 2 month winter stay. We both like the Kale tonic, and either the traditional or Trifecta with eggs, meat, potatoes and toast the 1st one or a pancake. Problem on one visit was the air conditioner was on HIGH and did not stop. Since this started after we received drinks we couldn't leave! Many tables were complaining but they said they had to leave it on. It was frigid. The food is OK but it's just eggs. I have had the 1/2 ham sandwich and soup but everything seems SO expensive. Tea and coffee are $3.59, tonic $4.99 our eggs$ !3 and $14 so the total with 18% tip smallest recommended) was $48. We can eat and almost any other breakfast places for less or at least for more and better food choices.
