Shari had Shrimp Cheese Grits, and I had the Steak Scrambled Eggs? Both were delicious! The steak?s flavor was perfect! No need for any extra seasoning. Out of 5 stars, the shrimp and grits were a 10! (I had them plated separately because I?m a baby about shrimp and didn?t trust it would be any good. But it was so flavorful!! The ambiance was calm for breakfast. And the fans made it comfortable. View all feedback.
What Rick doesn't like about Bud Alley's Waterfront Restaurant Bar:
Nice location; good service. Food was very good, but everything was a bit too heavily seasoned. The scallops were almost too salty to enjoy. We have eaten here many times when visiting Seaside and although good, the food is not as high quality as I would expect. View all feedback.
They seated us in the children's section, which we found a bit odd since we suspected it was because we were wearing shorts. However, the food was fantastic!
If the salad is described as "Heirloom tomatoes and peaches," one would not expect the tomatoes to be crunchy. From a taste perspective, the meal was just "meh."
The service was subpar, and the food was just average. Our waiter seemed either inattentive or lacking in understanding. We had to repeatedly ask him about our meals. Additionally, the staff was not aware of our reservation when we requested to add an extra person, even though it would have been easy for them to accommodate us upon our arrival.
We love bud and everyone! always a favorite! I would recommend it to others! the garnel paste was my favorite!
The food was horrible and way overpriced. The waiter told us they were known for their crab cakes (also the most expensive thing on the menu) kept going on on about how amazing they were. Well of course I ordered the crab cakes. Huge mistake! They were extremely bland (literally had no taste). I put salt, pepper, and squeezed a lemon on them to try to amplify the flavors (didn’t work), so I ordered remoulade sauce. He was so shocked I ordered the sauce Bc he says everyone loves him. Long story short, I wouldn’t have minded paying $40 if they were actually amazing, but I’m convinced he actually just wanted me to have a more expensive meal, so he would get a larger tip. I won’t be back for dinner.
