nice to finally find a fast restaurant that does not serve so fat eating. I had the banzai burrito with brown rice. very good and filling. nice that I have the opportunity to add brown rice instead of normal white rice. also they can choose for tofu, fish, bark, pig, **** and garnel, so also the non-Vegs can choose what they like. pity that there is no restaurant in san francisco if I would visit wahoos again! It's great to discover a fast food restaurant that offers healthier options. I tried the banzai burrito with brown rice and it was delicious and satisfying. I appreciated the option to choose brown rice instead of the usual white rice. They also offer a variety of protein choices like tofu, fish, beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp, so there's something for everyone. It's a pity that there isn't a Wahoo's location in San Francisco – if there was, I would definitely visit again!
Although it may appear to be just another taco and burrito spot, this particular Wahoo location sets itself apart with its alternative, surfer vibe. The decor features a relaxed dude atmosphere with plenty of random stickers adorning the chairs, tables, and walls. I frequently pass by this place and have popped in a few times. Here's my review of Wahoo's. Surprisingly, the menu is quite vegetarian-friendly, despite sharing the same grill for both meat and veg options. While dining at non-vegetarian establishments, I usually have to overlook this fact. The food is decent and satisfying, and the ambiance is more laid-back and earthy compared to other taco/burrito chains like Baja Fresh or La Salsa. Vegetarians have more choices beyond just rice and beans here, with options like grilled veggies and marinated tofu available for filling.
The black beans, brown rice, and tofu options are vegan, while the other rice options contain butter. You can customize your meal by choosing to have these items in a bowl, wrap, corn tortilla, or lettuce leaf, and top them off with salsa, lettuce, and tomato.

In my Wahoo's review, I found that the menu surprisingly caters to vegetarians, although I understand that the same grill is used for both meat and veg options. Despite this, the food is tasty and the atmosphere feels more cozy and grounded compared to other chain restaurants like Baja Fresh or La Salsa. Vegetarians can enjoy more than just rice and beans as fillings at Wahoo's, with options like grilled vegetables and marinated tofu available.
