the open area is amazing, but they also have a bar area and they have a few beers on the tap. pizza was thin and the spaghetti and meatball sauce was a little bit cheesy, so it is not exactly marinara sauce. the vibes are very much chill and melow, they gave a half wall full of albums and the music was very good. small waiting staff, but they are fast and friendly. we have not waited much for our meal to come, and no... What User doesn't like about Vito's Pizza:
pizza is good. service terrible / lazy. not opened at 11 o'clock? tactical music for hipster and they won't turn it off. the real vitos on la cienega is epic. the trip is worth. I miss lunch there and go only when something is done. last visit for over 20 minutes for a disc. it was said that someone ordered a whole pizza. are you all round? do you tell me that you can heat up a cut while the pizza cooks? Best pizza in town, we really enjoyed the service and menu. we loved that they played fleetwood mac on vinyl recordings.
That is the real deal. best East Coast pizza in California!
As soon as you walk in the door, Vito's SMELLS like a great pizza joint should ... Great Pizza, Amazing Cannolis!?
Had the white pesto pizza OMG so good!!! I’d give the pizza five stars. We also had the Mediterranean Salad which was very good too… fresh and tasty and the large fed our group of 5 very satisfactorily. However the wait on Friday night around 7:00 p.m. for my pizza was close to 55 minutes… the kitchen staff was really hustling so can’t really complain it was just really busy. By 8:15 the crowds were gone and I’m sure the wait would have been much shorter.Oh And don’t confuse this place with the old standard Vito’s Italian on Ocean Park in Santa Monica… this place is much more fun and the interior is really cool… all kinds of vinyl playing on the turn table!!!I’m knocking a star off because they limit refills on iced tea… really… is that necessary??? It’s one of those small Collins glasses anyway that you can down in one big sip… and it ain’t cheap either… is this the way you want your non-alcohol customers that are designated driving to go away thinking about this place? Humbug!!!!
Such a fun, yummy experience shared with my brothers. Jennifer was definitely a highlight of the experience. Made us feel so welcome and such a joy to deal with. Most definitely going back for more yumz and a glass (or two) of wine
