Beautiful boutique hotel in Santa Monica. It's a bit far from the promenade and the pier, so expect to drive a bit for restaurants and things to do, but they'll drive you up to a mile away for free or loan you a bike. But if you want a place to just relax and enjoy Santa Monica, it's hard to beat. Except that the coffee at breakfast doesn't include free refills... That's a bit silly. View all feedback.
What Jonathan Dautrich Jr doesn't like about Tower 8:
Staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was a beautiful little place to eat breakfast. The rooms were nice and stylish, but the floor above us creaked loudly, so we were woken up at 7am each day, which made it harder to enjoy the rest of the stay. Two different times we called ahead for valet, but they still didn't leave to pick up our car until we actually walked out there, so we had to wait. Overall a decent ex... View all feedback.
Great experience. Staff is very nice and friendly. The heated pool is amazing.

Overall a decent experience, but didn't seem worth the cost, even when spending points.
Well, so far, NOT GOOD. Did you know that there is a $500 A NIGHT deposit taken from your card for incidentals? So the room may be a bargain about $700 a night, but not so much at $1200 A NIGHT. I'm having (my corp) looking into this, and if that doesn't work, that State Attorney General.
