Hoping this is a new chef, or a big night crowd and a off. I plan to go back again.
I went there for lunch today; the place is cute; I like the atmosphere. I'm not impressed by the food, honestly. Salmon was ok, but I would order it again. It's a bit overpriced.
Saturday, reservation for Valet parking was easy despite moderate traffic on Ocean Ave. Sunny, cool, blustery day was nice for people watching. Our table was in the outdoor covered patio adjacent to sidewalk. The noise level was moderate but we could hear our conversations. The pink champagne sangrias were refreshing and lasted the whole meal. Stuffed with fresh fruit, I had my dessert and palate cleanser all in one! Scones with side of butter and jelly were the bread of the day. The guys each ordered the Eastern Lobster with homemade tagliatelle and their special pink sauce. The gals split the same dish and saved room for the light, delicious coconut cake. The waiter and servers were excellent and attentive. Dishes arrived in a timely manner so that we were comfortably able to enjoy the ambiance and food together. The was a stellar experience.
Service was superior. Menu broad and well curated, food well prepared, attractive presentation, delivering a cross section to satisfy even the pickiest of diners.
As usual, everyone was very cordial and the food was excellent!
