The party chose several pastas/appearants and I must say that I was delighted that they had a Mentai-based pasta offer. Just the highlight of my food and I would return to the court alone. There was no good thing about our experience in Giorgio Baldi. Saw down and waited for 20 minutes to drink orders. He left 5 menus for 6 people. Wait for 30 minutes to get our drinks and then another 29 minutes to ask a waiter to order dinner. Food was craziness. Salads were so boring and on average you could be better at home. If you are ready for the best house made Italian cuisine with impeccable service and quality at each row, then this is your goal. By far the best. Every bite or drink is spectacular from the beginning to the end you will be overjoyed that you discover Giorgio Baldi. Make your reservations early.
So average. Service was pretty good but the quality of the food certainly doesn 't warrant the prices. Feels like GB 's is just living off celebrity spotting rather than delivering the much anticipated authentic Italian cooking. Disappointing.
Managed to secure a booking for Friday night. Staff were so friendly; Max really looked after us and provided an unbelievable service. Food and ambience were incredible. Celeb hotspot so it was kinda funny to see paparazzi hanging outside waiting. Definitely will return on my next LA visit, esp for an occasion.
The appetizers (pictured) were the best part of our meal, the rest was mid. Somehow we booked an early reservation and had the place to ourselves. It's very small inside, and you will likely be right next to another table. Valet guys are super busy, it would be so nice if they could have your car ready to go.
Wow is really all that can be said for this tremendous Italian restaurant. If there was more stars I would give it 10. The crostino de prosciutto was amazing, I did not expect the flavors that came with it. And the Aragosta Saltata was full of giant hunks of lobster. I took my girlfriend for her birthday and we had an experience we will never forget.
