I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries from Fuku. The portion sizes were very generous and both dishes were great! The fries had a sweet heat flavor and the chicken sandwich had a great sauce on it. I'll be back! View all feedback.
What Kobe B doesn't like about Fuku At Kitchen United Mix:
I was actually excited to try this place after hearing good things about from a friend of mine. There were many many issues in regards to eating here...Wait time, quality, and missing items. The worst part would of had to be getting served RAW chicken. Absolute disaster of a restaurant. View all feedback.
I'm surprised this place only has a few reviews, but it could be because it's part of the Kitchen United MIX. The actual chicken sandwich tasted great, but the chicken was a bit too big for the bun for me. The waffle hash browns were good, but not any better than a normal order of fries anywhere else. I hope more people will try this place though!
I've heard a bunch about this place and the chicken sando didn't disappoint! Also had the impossible nuggies and spicy chicken empanadas. Yum!

I was sad that I missed trying Fuku when it was originally in the food hall, but glad to see that it's still here in a different version. Ordering was fairly easy: you just go to the Kitchen United MIX website and select the restaurant that you'd like to order from. They gave a pretty wide range for the wait time (15 25 minutes) and it was closer to the 15 minute mark. Pick up was easy: I walked in a told them my name. They have numerous bags read to go, but mine was the only one in the Fuku bag! The packaging was a bit annoying because they placed the bottle of water on top and it kind of crushed the box, but this is on me: I eventually rearranged things in the bag and took the beverage bottle out. Now onto the food: it was pretty good! The chicken was heavily breaded, which gave it a nice crunch. I ordered the 4 piece chicken tender meal, but they definitely threw in a few extra pieces, perhaps because they included some smaller pieces in my order, so the extra pieces compensated? I enjoyed the smaller pieces than the larger pieces of chicken. The larger pieces could be a bit dry in the middle, but the smaller pieces were just perfect in terms of crunchy breading to chicken ratio, and those pieces also seemed to retain the juiciness/moisture. The jalapeno waffle fries had a nice kick to them, although there were definitely some pieces that had way too much seasoning. It wasn't the most evenly distributed with the seasoning. I really liked the spicy mayo sauce. The breading itself doesn't have much spice or flavoring to it, so the flavor really relies heavily on the sauce. I should also note that this is *not* hot chicken. It's just regular (but pretty solid) chicken tenders. Overall, it's a quick meal, and very COVID friendly take out experience.
Excellent sandwich, spicy. Love the waffle fries and the waffle hash. Love the concept of Mix Kitchen!
