The reason I keep coming back here is because the food is very fresh and always delicious. The same owner since 1971 or maybe longer. That should be enough to try it. View all feedback.
What Rafael D doesn't like about Dhaba Cuisine Of India:
I ordered delivery and unfortunately the food was disappointing both in flavor and presentation. We ordered several curries and a few grilled items. There was a general lack of flavor and depth. I have heard that the food is usually pretty good at the location so I'm hoping that there's better luck trying it in person. View all feedback.
My favorite Indian restaurant I 've ever been to. Everything is extremely fresh, the food always tastes great and makes you feel even better. No matter how much I stuff myself, I never leave feeling sluggish or in a 'food coma ' I think it speaks a lot to the quality of their ingredients. We go here every time we 're in the area, and it never disappoints.

Some of the best Indian food I've had in my life. My friend and I both got the thali, which came with entree of choice, daal, vegetables, a salad, and bread. It was much more cost effective than ordering it all separately. I thought the food was fresh, well flavored, and not overly oily. Would come back tomorrow if I was still in town. Also, the ambience outside on the patio was great.
Best Indian Food in Santa Monica in my opinion. Sooo light and sooo healthy! Your stomach does not feel bloated after a meal. My favorites are: spicy chicken vindaloo, tandoori chicken tikka masala, gobi aloo, lentil, and tandoori salmon. I want them to open again, please!
I mourn the last 25 years of driving past this place and somehow never stopping in. I finally did tonight and i plan to do so many many more times in the future. The Northen Indian cuisine served her is done so with a delicate hand. The farmers market vegetable specials are so well proportioned as to be a form of art. Even the naan has a character difficult to find (it is rivaled only by the naan at Al Watan). The waitstaff is friendly and patient and will explain any item on the menu. The outdoor dining area is a perfect setting on a warm or cool night. Eat here.
