Chili Line Brewing - Santa Fe

The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and their beer was even better. Their El Hefe is the best smoked hefeweizen I've ever tasted. I was amazed by its beautiful color and fantastic flavor. It's conveniently located near downtown, yet far enough away to allow for easy parking in their own lot. The prices were a little on the higher side; our bill for one appetizer, three meals, and five beers came to $68. However, I would definitely go back!

Amazing service, fantastic beer, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I especially loved the Impossible Pizza from Lino’s. I definitely plan to return before leaving Santa Fe!

During our recent visit to Santa Fe, my fiancé and I decided to stop by this brewery since it was conveniently located near our accommodations. Initially, the idea of smoked beer was a bit intimidating, but we were pleasantly surprised after sampling a few varieties. Most of the beers we tried had only a subtle hint of smoke, although there were some on the menu that featured a stronger smoky flavor for those who prefer it. Each beer we tasted was excellent, the atmosphere was lively (especially with the karaoke that started and provided a lot of fun), the service was outstanding, and the regular patrons were warm and friendly. Overall, we will definitely make a point to return the next time we are in Santa Fe.

Our focus was on trying the beers, so we settled at the bar, which is quite small, featuring just a couple of tables and a few stools. Jessica, our attentive server, pointed us to the online beer menu. With some help from her, I ordered a flight of four beers, and I must say, they were all exceptional. One of the highlights for me was the selection of smoked beers. I’ve always had a soft spot for them, whether they’re ales, stouts, or lagers. There’s something truly distinctive about smoked brews that sets them apart from the rest, and Chili Line definitely excels in this area—it's the best I’ve tasted! Jessica was fantastic—not only did she engage in conversation, but she also helped us choose our beers and even shared some fun tattoo stories with us. She offered great advice on which merchandise to buy as well. Our visit was brief, lasting about an hour, but it was absolutely delightful. Chili Line has a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Unlike some breweries that chase trends, this place feels like a calm retreat where you can truly enjoy some standout smoked beers. I’ll definitely be returning—consider yourselves warned!
