My wife and I are pushing 60, we have travelled a lot..... We ate here twice. Why, because this is one of, maybe the best place, we have ever eaten. We have done exotic, we have done posh, we have roughed it. But in terms of friendly service, superb food and value, this place cannot be beaten. Thin base pizza, but not enough not to taste the base, and toppings beautifully presented and so full of flavour, paper thin aubergine on the siciliana pizza was superb.. Try the home made chilli oil for a touch of heat. Then after homemade desert at 3 euro, we had tiramisu and chocolate mouse. Half a bottle of wine 6.50 euro. We fancied some prawns to start, not on the menu, no bother, rustled up in a great sauce mopped up with local garlic bread. You must try this place.

Third year in a row we've visited this delightful pizzeria in a little back street of Funchal. Saturday night when the rest of the town was really quiet (no cruise ships in) they were packed with locals and students and we were glad we'd gone to eat quite early. Friendly staff, delicious food, good wine selection, what's not to like? Well worth getting the street map out to find the location. Will be returning on our next trip to Madeira.
