Silantro Fil-Mex Cantina - Santa Cruz

My eldest son suggested to have lunch in Silantro, Tagaytay and all 6 of us in the family enjoyed the food. The appetizer beef nachos was very good. We also ordered the lucha tacos, silantros burrito, pancholons burger, rib fingers and grilled porkchop and each one is really delicious. Good serving size and value for your money. Service was responsive and will definitely come back again.

Had a super late lunch (more like merienda na because we went at 3pm) at Silantro and we were surprised that the place is still packed. We had to wait for about 15mins before we were seated. We ordered beef nachos, calliente wings, paella fajita mix, and grilled porkchop. I liked the beef nachos but I wish it had more meat/toppings. The wings were flavorful and not too spicy (which I liked). Paella fajita mix was also delicious. The porkchop, however, was a bit of a let down. The meat was tough and bland for my taste. Everything we ordered were good enough for 3-4 people. Waiting time is a bit long (20-25mins) and some of the wait staff are not that attentive to the customers' needs (hence, the Average rating).

Silantro is my husband favorite restaurant ???????????? but their branch in tagaytay is not like in up town the place is hot but thanks god no loud music the service is fast but the taste of the sauce is really different ????????????

We came here to order their burger and waited for almost an hour. We also request for knives for our burgers and it didn't came (2 servers were notified, none of them respond). Overall, the food was good but a bit disappointed for the service.

I was a bit skeptical of the place first as the prices on the menu were suspiciously cheap. I even made double orders of my taco expecting just a small piece. But when my huge soft shell taco arrived I was glad I didn't do so. The triple-meat choice I made which is a combination of lamb, lengua and beef, which I didn't expect much of as well, turned out to be a heavenly delight. It was overflowing and very flavorful and topped with a thick serving of greens making me declare it as perfect. The beef skewers were equally as awesome with the servers tirelessly refilling our sauce plates of the 3 types of dips. I'll definitely watch out for this resto again wherever we go!
