We always choose king bee for our Group dinner. The menu is a bit pricey but you'll always end up satisfied after the meal! Even my kid chooses to eat here. Was invited earlier by my sis-in-laws family to eat at King Bee Sta Rosa. My last visit to this restaurant was 2011 but never came back since then because we found their food either too salty or too sweet. Had lunch at this place at santa rosa on our way to Matabungkay resort. we were lucky to find a table without the wait as usually this restaurant is full. understably, considering that it offers authentic chinese food at a reasonable price and the service is fast. we had nido soup, yangchow rice, steamed fish fillet in garlic, steamed spinach in garlic, siomai (the love of our kids! & us adults! :), crispy fried chicken (for the kids, the usual adult excuse to order chicken again :), and for a group of 10 we only paid p2,999. that's only about p299/head. not bad for a lunch of authentic chinese food served quickly!
I've been to King Bee quite a number of times, and every time, I left with a smile on my face. Certainly, the menu is quite pricey, but one thing I can say is that, it's absolutely worth it. Never have I ate at this restaurant and left unsatisfied. The food is absolutely delicious, the ambiance is pleasing, and the service is very good. Be prepared to skip your diet when you come, the food is too good :)
We brought our relative who was visiting from the US to King Bee Sta.Rosa after coming down from Tagaytay to have a light dinner. We ordered several dimsum and wonton noodle soup. It took more than 40 minutes before any of our orders came and only after I started calling at least 4 waiters/servers some of whom started to ignore us as I suspect they misplaced our order. I stared to shout since all theother tables around us were already served and we were ahead of them.On the dimsum: the Siao long pao came in raw and slimmy, sea weeds was difficult to chew, the siomai we ordered Never came but they have the nerve to bill us for it, the service tea was almost at room temp. Oh but they were very fast when it come to billing time.
