This restaurant is located in a narrow street in the old town. there are many signs in the streets they point in the right direction. the restaurant is housed in a stone house. it has two sections of the same local charm. if I remember well, the kitchen in the middle is of everything that separates the two parts. the mixture of parasols is very interesting. people who look at and interview about the food and drinks they taste, look and interview is a very interesting experience, as the place is rather cramped with tables, counters and other furniture. eating is simply spectacular, especially seafood. if in santa comba dao, you should not miss la cova funda!

On the inside it is small and cosy due to his interior who is typical Portuguese, the service is ok and the staff very friendly.As entrée they served slices of bread, butter and olives and a plate with small fish.As main dish I had grilled chicken, and my wife a typical Portuguese plate “Cozida Portuguesa”.To drink we had 0, 5 l red wine of the house, for dessert we had one pie and two coffees.For the total we have paid 20€.The quality of the food was ok, the quantity ok, but in total nothing special.This restaurant is following the price, more for the middle class and tourists.

Food is traditional portuguese, with a pleasant taste, but high in calories. On two occasions we were given a bill that was erroneously higher than justified.
