The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, and the food was excellent.... read more I visited a charming restaurant located in the Portuguese countryside, which was a hidden gem. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, and the food was excellent. Despite not having a reservation, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. As a vegan, I opted for the only vegetarian dish they offered, which was also vegan-friendly. However, they didn't have any vegan desserts or starters, but they provided bread and olive oil. This was the only downside to my experience, but everything else was simply marvellous. Therefore, I highly recommend this restaurant to others.

For a good ending, the Morgado cake is a delicious bomb dessert. Don’t forget to book it in advance.
