The burrito grande was exactly as described; the tri-tip was incredibly delicate and tender—one of the best I've ever had. The burrito itself was not just humble, but quite massive! What Charlie Kotcher doesn't like about Pappy's:
Got the linguica and cheese omelette and asked for crispy hash browns. Also asked for a side of gravy. The omelet was good but the linguica lacked a lot of flavor. The gravy was the weirdest country gravy I’ve had, but wasn’t too bad. Had the consistency of split pea soup. The hash browns were borderlined burnt, but they were crispy. Service was ok, had to constantly ask for refills. Overall just a 3 star restaurant. View all feedback.
Exceptional service and delicious food! The portions are massive, so make sure you're hungry when you visit!
I had a great experience at this restaurant. I ordered the tri-tip sandwich, and the meat was perfectly charred on the outside, which added a wonderful flavor, while the bread was nice and crispy. The sandwich was a little on the small side, but that might just be because I enjoyed it so much that I wanted more. The service was outstanding; the staff checked on us several times throughout our visit.
The food selection is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the prices are reasonable.
Great food, good price, good old fashioned atmosphere.
The pancakes don't look too special but they are soo good!! Give them a try! The rest I wasn't too impressed with I gave them 4 stars solely because of the pancakes the rest was 3 star at best.
