Santa Barbara Fish Market

I cannot find the right words to describe how incredible the fresh sea urchin and oysters are at this restaurant. The flavors are so fresh, with a beautiful creamy and sweet-salty taste. The sea urchin is sold for $16 each and the oysters range from $1.50-$2 each. I drove all the way from the river to Santa Barbara just to have them, and it was definitely worth the effort and cost.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this restaurant. I placed an order online, but it was rejected due to a failed delivery by FedEx. The customer service team in Santa Barbara promised to resolve the issue, but after multiple ignored emails and over a month later, I have given up and am writing this review.

I really enjoy this restaurant. It has a cool vibe and the staff is not overly fake friendly. They consistently have fresh catch by midday, including fresh uni which is delicious. I rarely order uni because I prefer it to be super fresh, and this uni definitely was - buttery, briny, a bit sweet, and tasty. The best uni I've ever had. The oysters were also fantastic, as well as the fresh oyster baby octopus salad with a crispy texture and tasty sesame sauce. However, the tuna pot was nothing special and my kid said I could make it better at home. The tuna was fresh though. I would give this place 5 stars for seafood lovers.

Great place. we had uni and utter. I think most people want the uni because that's harder to find. we had a certain variance in the uni, which is completely expected. the uni was good. it was what was surprising. they were so fresh and so tasteful. they combined silk with fleshiness to provide a wonderful texture. I didn't add anything to my last oyster and that was my favorite. I would have had 24 of them with a drink and an salad and kept the day full. great work!

We have 2 fresh Uni and 8 clams, which are very fresh. Thanks, Vincento to pick a big Uni for us. Much creamy if you choose the big one. Call them before you go and ask what time they get the Uni from the dock. Ours is noon.
